For those of you who want to be more flexible and free.
Private trips
Private trips are our regular scheduled trips but you want to make it only for your group and adjust it to your group’s needs. So it’s within the same ferry schedules to and from Misool, but the details on the days are adapted to suit your group’s expectations.
So a Private trip could be for example an adapted regular trip working for a family, a beginner group or an only female trip. It could be more snorkelling or as much hiking as possible combined with paddling. A longer trip as 3 weeks in Misool is also possible. It could aslo be some activities before or after the kayaking trip made in Sorong. A Private trip have any of our regular trip as a base.

Customized trips
Customized trips, this category of trip is for those who want to try out something new and customized that our regular trips don’t offer. Would you like more challenges? Diving? See more of Misool or other parts of Raja Ampat? A special private group trip, a special family trip or a special company trip?
The Customized trips use normally speedboat for transportation to and from Misool. When it’s possible to choose what ever dates and length of the trip. It’s also possible to make a Customized special trip by use the ferries to keep the costs down but it’s made different to a regular trip. An option is also to add activities in Indonesia on the way to and from Sorong or do activities around Sorong before or after the kayaking trip.
Or would you like to try out liveaboard trips? Do you want to explore the most remote areas of Raja Ampat? As the eight best Islands of Raja Ampat and not the exploited Northern Raja Ampat Islands?
You could kayak with help of a special low budget liveaboard as made for kayaking. Or go for a more traditional pinisi ship that is less good for kayaking but much more comfortable. So you can choose liveabord class after your budget. At the same time, kayak and dive or snorkel the best and most amazing karst archipelagos of Raja Ampat with several on land adventures as well.
Kayaking is also possible at very remote blue mangrove island atolls and also kayaking at coral reef atolls better than Maldives or Tahiti. There you meet no other tourists and there very few have paddle a kayak.

What is included
The trip price covers all costs from the day the trip starts and to the last day of the trip in accordance with our trip specification.
These could be included in the trips:
- Ferry transfer from Sorong to Misool and back. Or transport by speedboat. Or by living on a liveaboard and getting the transports at the same time
- Accommodation in homestay, camping or living on a liveaboard during the trip
- Food, fruit, water & snacks during the whole trip
- All the boat transports in the trip
- All kayaking gear (kayak, sprayskirt, paddle, PFD etc.) of highest quality
- All camping equipment (tents with small fans, sleeping mats, batteries for charging cameras, stoves etc.) of highest quality
- Raja Ampat Marine Park entry permit and all fees/permits for kayaking in Misool
- English speaking Indonesian kayaking guides with very high professionalism
- Biodegradable soap, shampoo, cleaning agents, mosquito repellent and 100% marine safe sunscreen
- Satellite phones, first aid kits, complete medicine bags, jellyfish sting treatment, emergency plan and evacuation by speedboat
Not included in the price:
- Personal travel insurance
- Air fares/travel to the meeting point in Sorong
- Visa and passport charges
- Airport transfers and airport departure taxes
- Excess baggage charges
- Vaccinations and medicines for your trip
- Hotel nights on the trip to/from Sorong. Hotel nights in Sorong could be included after agreement.
- Alcoholic beverages but we can buy in for your trip
- Expenses of personal character as single room supplement, laundry and other personal items as snorkeling equipment, headlamp etc.

We negotiate the best prices for the logistics of the trips and the permissions for camping with the local villages that own the islands and guide you to the most memorable spots and places to camp. As you book your flights yourself, you have the freedom to plan some more activities before or after our trip. We are happy to give you advice on what to see before and after our trips and help you with the bookings if needed.
